The Summer Success Scholarship helps undergraduate students who have fallen behind in their degree program and would benefit from taking a summer course to get caught up but have financial challenges to doing so. Students at all Penn State campuses are eligible to apply. Students who receive the scholarship will receive $2,000 toward their summer tuition. Eligibility requirements are as follows: 

• Enrolled in at least one summer course at any Penn State campus
• Demonstrate that taking a summer course is necessary to get back on track for your degree program
• Demonstrated financial need 

The summer success scholarship application for Summer 2026 was due on April 11 and is now closed. Applications for Summer 2027 will open in January 2027.
