The Summer Success Scholarship helps undergraduate students who have fallen behind in their degree program and would benefit from taking a summer course to get caught up but have financial challenges to doing so. Students at all Penn State campuses are eligible to apply. Students who receive the scholarship will receive $2,000 toward their summer tuition. Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Enrolled in at least one summer course at any Penn State campus
- Demonstrate that taking a summer course is necessary to get back on track for your degree program
- Demonstrated financial need
Applications are now being accepted for the Summer Success Scholarship. Applications are due by April 11, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Due to the number of applications we receive, late applications will not be considered. Please note that graduate students are not eligible for the scholarship.
